Each data series has a standardized set of referential metadata which includes the definition of the series and all associated concepts, rationale behind the series, computational methods, potential data sources and more. The metadata template was adapted from the standard used for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) indicators. The full set of metadata is available with the associated data series in the data finder as well as the metadata catalog.
